Collomix Xo 10 NC 18V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is an 18V Li-ion battery rated at 2000mAh (36Wh), built to replace the original pack in the Collomix Xo 10 NC cordless mixer and PRO HT Winkelschleifer. The Xo 10 NC is a construction-grade mortar and material mixer used for blending concrete, plaster, tile adhesive, and similar compounds. Voltage and cell count match the original pack exactly.

  • Xo 10 NC and PRO HT Winkelschleifer compatibility: Both tools run on the same 18V rail and share the same connector format and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping batteries between these two tools is standard practice on Collomix platforms this pack supports both without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full charge and discharge sequences, monitoring BMS response during motor-start inrush events. The overcurrent protection triggered correctly at high-draw spikes and reset without manual intervention after load was removed.
  • First-use load conditioning on a mixer: On first use, run the mixer at half load for two cycles before tackling full-batch concrete or tile adhesive. This lets the BMS profile the motor’s inrush current draw and calibrate its overcurrent thresholds before sustained heavy mixing sessions.

When the Xo 10 NC starts under a heavy load dense mortar, thick adhesive, or a partially set batch the motor draws a large inrush current spike in the first fraction of a second. If the BMS reads that spike above its overcurrent threshold, it trips and cuts power immediately. This is not a battery fault; it is the protection circuit doing its job. Remove the paddle, clear the batch resistance, then restart the mixer unloaded before re-engaging the material.

Charger not recognising this pack after storage

Li-ion packs that have sat unused for several months can drop below the charger’s acceptance voltage typically under 2.5V per cell. When this happens, the charger blinks an error or does nothing at all. Most Collomix-compatible chargers have a recovery or trickle mode; consult the charger manual and activate it if available. If no recovery mode exists, a compatible charger with a manual boost function can bring the pack back up to 3.0V per cell, at which point normal charging resumes.
